'Sense of Serenity'  An exhibition by Donna Slyfield

Lifka is always full of wonderful pieces of work by many contemporary artists, and every couple of months we feature a new artist and exhibit a substantial body of new work. This spring Lifka brings you the talented textile artist Donna Slyfield. 'Sense of Serenity' explores and captures the sensual elements and the natural environment  through texture, line and subtle colour. Exhibition runs from 4th June - 8th July.

Donna uses fabric, collage, machine stitching and screen printing to create unique one off pieces in a subtle seductive colour palette on fabric and paper. Her love of colour, texture and simple line are fused and translated into sensitive interpretations of movement and space inspired by water and the north east coast line.
